Goal(s): Strength, Fat Loss and Injury Prevention
Date: April 25th, 2025
I started training with Max in September 2024, and after completing his transformation challenge, I knew he was the perfect fit for my fitness journey. When I joined F.R.E.E. Fitness, my two main goals were to gain upper body strength and lose the 20 pounds I had gained while recovering from a back injury.
I chose to work with a personal trainer for a few key reasons. Most importantly, I wanted to make sure I was doing exercises properly without risking re-injury. I also needed accountability and support—and I’ve found both in abundance at Free Fitness.
All of the trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive at F.R.E.E. Fitness. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Coach Ty, whose mobility training has been a game-changer for my back and other injuries. Ty is truly one of a kind. I also get to work with coach Hailey, who I absolutely adore. She’s inspiring, and I deeply admire her journey.
Now, what makes Max so special? Honestly, there isn’t enough space to list all the reasons why he’s an exceptional trainer. But what stands out the most is how he consistently pushes me to be better. As someone who can be pretty stubborn, I needed a trainer who could challenge me, understand my body, and work with my ongoing recovery. Max does all of that and more. I’m forever grateful that our paths crossed.
Working with Max, Ty, and Hailey has truly changed my life. Not only has my body transformed, but I’ve also grown so much as a person. This once shy, introverted girl now walks into the gym with confidence—and crushes RDLs and deadlifts like never before.
I’m recovering from a serious back injury that left me bedridden for two months. I gained 20 pounds and fell into depression. At one point, I feared I might be paralyzed. Even simple movements such as walking, sitting, turning my head—were painful. But through it all, I stayed determined. I refused to let this injury define me.
I may not be where I once was, but I’m stronger than I’ve ever been—and I’m only getting started. Words of encouragement: Never give up.
Thank you to all of my coaches!
