Having dedicated 14 years to hockey and the past 8 years to the art of Olympic weightlifting, I’ve found solace and strength in sports. My story, like many others, involves battles with mental health and self-confidence, challenges that persisted through my teens and twenties.
Fitness emerged as my sanctuary, a realm where I could maintain my mental well-being during a time when discussions about mental health were scarce. Through my struggles with addiction and alcoholism, I came to realize the intricate connection between mental and physical health, each profoundly influencing the other.
My coaching style definitely reflects this philosophy. Whether you’re embarking on your health and fitness journey for the first time or you’re an experienced lifter, I am confident in my ability to guide you. My goal is to help you evolve into the best version of yourself, considering not only your physical strength but also your emotional resilience and mental fortitude.
